Disciplina Hires Michael Burns as Head of Investment Operations

August 10, 2021 - Nashville, TN - Disciplina is pleased to expand its team with the addition of Michael Burns as Director of Investment Operations.

Michael joins Disciplina from the Carnegie Corporation of New York and will oversee all investment administration related functions including performance reporting, operational due diligence and client onboarding. Michael brings over 13 years of experience working in investment operations roles for a number of organizations with complex, multi-billion-dollar portfolios.

Prior to working at Disciplina, Michael worked at the Carnegie Corporation where he institutionalized the back-office functions across the $4+ billion endowment portfolio. Prior to that he was an Operations Manager at TrueBridge Capital Partners in Chapel Hill, N.C. Michael started his career working with Disciplina’s founding Partners as an Operations Analyst for the Vanderbilt University endowment in Nashville, Tennessee.

Michael holds a BBA with a focus on Finance from Middle Tennessee State University.
